make Oat Crusted Chicken Tenders
Chicken Tenders Ingredients:
- Boneless Chicken, cut into strips (350 gm)
- Garlic paste (1 tablespoon)
- Green chili paste (1 tablespoon)
- Ginger paste (1 tablespoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Oats (1 cup)
- Freshly ground black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Refined flour (3/4 cup)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Dried mixed herbs (1 tablespoon)
Process:
- Place the chicken pieces on a flat surface lined with cling wrap and hammer it with a meat mallet until thickness gets equal.
- Horizontally cut the chicken pieces into 2 inch thick strips.
- In a bowl place the chicken and add salt, and green chilli paste, ginger, garlic and mix well, ensuring the marinade gets rubbed into the chicken pieces. Keep aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
For Oat Crumb:
- Place oats in a food processor, and process for 20 seconds.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and herbs. Pulse to make a coarse powder and spread out in an even layer in a plate.
For Chicken Tenders:
- Heat a pan and add some oil.
- Take each chicken strip, dredge in oat mixture and place on the hot pan, ensuring it is completely flat.
Cook 3-5 minutes until the recipe gets golden brown color. Serve hot.
