Make Black Bean Burger with Hung Curd Spread.
This burger was inspired by my favorite veggie burger in all City.Black bean burger had a modest description but the flavor and texture are anything.
Ingredients:
- Black bean (1 cup)
- Boiled corn kernels (1/2 cup)
- Boiled arbi (250 gm)
- Finely chopped red bell pepper (1/2 cup)
- Boiled corn kernels (1/2 cup)
- Cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Bread crumbs (1 cup)
- Melted butter (1 tablespoon)
- Red chilli flakes (1 teaspoon)
- Ginger garlic paste (1/2 teaspoon)
- Egg (1 pieces)
Process:
- Soak black beans overnight and then pressure cook in pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Divide into 2 parts. Mash one part and keep the other as is.
- Blend the arbi in a large mixing bowl mash and then mix together mashed black bean and the remaining ingredients. Shape into patties.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties till it gets crisp and golden.
- Place the curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 30 minutes for the whey to drain out. Beat it in a mixing bowl along with garlic and parsley.
- Apply a generous serving of the hung curd spread and place the burger patties.
- In the top of the recipe add fresh lettuce and then serve.
