Marble Cake :
Ingredients:
- Butter (150 gm)
- Castor sugar (150 gm)
- Flour (150 gm)
- Egg (3 pieces)
- Vanilla essence (1/2 teaspoon)
- Baking powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cocoa (1 tablespoon)
For the Icing
- Icing sugar (100 gm)
- Melted chocolate (50 gm)
- Butter (50 gm)
- Cocoa (2 teaspoon)
Process:
- Mix butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Slowly beat in eggs. Fold in all the flour (keep 1 Tbsp for later).
- Divide batter in half.
- Fold 1 tablespoon flour in 1 half and the cocoa in the other. Place in alternate spoonfuls in a greased and lined 8″ cake tin.
- Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 20-25 minutes.
- After baking process is completed turn out and cool.
- Beat the ingredients ( Icing ingredients) together. Spread over cake.
- Serve.
