Fish Fingers
INGREDIENTS
- 250 gm firm white fish fillet (without bones) – cut into fingers
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs for coating
MARINADE
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes or to taste
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp tomato ketchup
METHODS
Rub a little lemon juice on the fish fingers.
keep aside for 30 minutes. Wash fish well. Transfer to a kitchen towel and pat till well dried.
Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a flat dish. Add fish and mix well. Keep aside for half an hour. Do not marinate for too long.
Spread bread crumbs in a flat plate. Pick up one piese of marinated fish and roll over dry bread crumbs.
Put the tawa on the rack in the oven. Preheat the oven H2 for tawa frying with the tawa inside to heat the tawa.
Place the fish fingers on the hot tawa and cook for 8-10 minutes. Serve hot with tartar sauce.
