Meenakshi Temple is a historic Hindu temple and as a big famous template in India. The temple is located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River. This Hindu temple is inside of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in India.
Madurai Meenakshi Temple has four nine-storey high towers that are adorned with hundreds of colorful sculptures.
It is dedicated to Parvati and it known as Meenakshi with her consort, Shiva, which also known as Sundareswarar. In the 14th century, the Sultani Muslim commander Malik Kafur ruined the temple and looted its valuable items. A big achievement in history, the temple attracts 15,000 visitors a day, attracting around 25,000 on Friday, and 60 million annual revenues.
