PHP history
PHP stands for PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor, it is a server side scripting language use for making web applications. Rasmus Lerdorf first developed this language in the web programming world, it’s very simple and easy to learn.
PHP is an open source programming language and it runs on most of the operating systems like windows, linux, MAC etc and it’s available to most web services.
PHP is a powerful server side programming language, It’s is very helpful for users to creating a dynamic web pages. PHP code basically used in HTML pages(Hypertext Markup Language), now HTML-5 is achieved.
When Rasmus Lerdorf was created PHP he takes most of syntax’s from programming C, Java and Perl. It was a simple set of CGI (Common Gateway Interface). “He mainly stood PHP for Personal Home Page.”
